Privacy policy
This is the BaskıGATE privacy policy, and it also satisfies the disclosure obligation under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (KVKK). The data controller providing the service is İbrahim Cihan DİKMEN, address 1572/1. Sk. No:33 35170 Konak - İzmir / Türkiye. Details about cookies are on a separate page: Cookie policy.
What data we process
For site visitors and applicants:
- Name, email address, phone number, print shop name and your role
- The message you write in the form
- Your IP address and the time at the moment of the enquiry
For print shop staff using the system:
- Name, email address, role
- A record of actions taken in the system (which user, when, what they did)
For the print shop's customers and approvers:
- Name, email address, phone number
- When the approval link was opened, when the decision was made, the IP address and device information
- Notes and comments written on the approval screen
The data controller for this data is the print shop using the service; in respect of that data İbrahim Cihan DİKMEN acts as a data processor and processes it only on the print shop's instructions.
Why we process it
- To answer your enquiries and questions
- To provide the service: obtaining print approval, sending reminders, showing job status
- To preserve the evidential value of the approval record: so that who approved what, and when, can be proven afterwards
- To keep the system secure and prevent abuse
- To meet our legal obligations
Legal basis
Your data is processed on the basis of KVKK Article 5/2-c (conclusion or performance of a contract), Article 5/2-ç (legal obligation), Article 5/2-e (establishment, exercise or protection of a right) and Article 5/2-f (legitimate interest). The data in the contact form rests on your explicit consent; you may withdraw that consent at any time.
Where it is stored
Data is hosted on servers located in Türkiye and/or within the European Union. Backups are held encrypted at a separate service provider. Where a transfer abroad is involved, the conditions of KVKK Article 9 are observed.
How long we keep it
- Contact and application messages: 2 years at most
- Approval records and the event log: 10 years from completion of the job in question. This period follows the statutory limitation periods, so the records remain usable as evidence in a possible dispute.
- User accounts: for as long as the service relationship lasts, plus 1 year after it ends
- Server and access logs: 1 year
Approval records are held inside the system in a form that cannot be altered or deleted, in order to preserve the integrity of the evidence; when the retention period expires they are destroyed as a whole.
Who we share it with
- With our hosting and backup providers (only to the extent needed to provide the service)
- With our email delivery provider
- With Google Ireland Ltd., for visit statistics on the public pages — only if you have given cookie consent, and limited to page-view information. This measurement does not run on the application screens or on the approval screens your customers see; no job data from there ever reaches Google. Details: Cookie policy.
- With legally authorised public authorities, on request
Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information if it has been; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose; know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request its erasure or destruction; request that these actions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to; object to an outcome against you arising from analysis solely by automated systems; and claim compensation if you suffer loss.
You can send your requests to bilgi@baskigate.com. Your request will be answered within 30 days at the latest.
