Terms of use

These terms govern the use of the BaskıGATE service provided by İbrahim Cihan DİKMEN (1572/1. Sk. No:33 35170 Konak - İzmir / Türkiye). By using the service you are deemed to have accepted them.

1. Scope of the service

BaskıGATE is a software service for print shops to collect, chase and record customer approval before a job goes to press. The service does not include production planning, costing, preflight or artwork checking. The technical suitability of the file that goes to press is the user's responsibility.

2. Accounts and access

• The user is responsible for keeping their account details confidential.
• Sharing one account between several people makes it unclear who an approval record belongs to and is not recommended.
• The approval link sent to a customer can be used by anyone who knows it. Delivering the link to the right person is the user's responsibility.

3. The approval record

The system stores the artwork, the specification, the wording shown and the decision made at the moment of approval, with timestamps, in a form that cannot be altered. The records may be used as evidence in a dispute; however İbrahim Cihan DİKMEN gives no undertaking that those records will produce any particular outcome in any legal dispute. Assessing the records in law is a matter for the courts.

Approval records cannot be deleted or altered within the system. This is the product's core function and cannot be switched off at a user's request.

4. Content and intellectual property

• The artwork, files and details you upload belong to you or to your customer; they are not used for any purpose other than providing the service.
• You represent that you hold the necessary rights in the content you upload.
• The software itself and its design belong to İbrahim Cihan DİKMEN.

5. Service continuity

Reasonable effort is made to provide the service without interruption; however no uptime guarantee is given for interruptions arising from maintenance, updates, faults originating with an infrastructure provider, or force majeure. Planned maintenance is announced in advance.

6. Backup and export

Your data is backed up regularly and the backups are kept on a service other than the hosting provider. If you leave the service, your records are exported and handed to you within a reasonable time upon request.

7. Limitation of liability

The liability of İbrahim Cihan DİKMEN is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the loss. Indirect damages, loss of profit and loss of business are excluded. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited by law.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended if the service fee goes unpaid or if these terms are breached. Suspension of access does not mean that existing approval records are deleted; they are preserved for the retention period.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. Significant changes that may work against you are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. In disputes, [COMPETENT COURTS AND ENFORCEMENT OFFICES] shall have jurisdiction.
